Are there any specific days to start SIP for Mutual funds?

There are as such no restrictions on the day of the month any more. It can be any day. The only condition is that it cannot be a Saturday and Sunday when starting off. Later months, it gets adjusted anyways if the SIP date is coming on a weekend.

There is no right time as such to invest in mutual funds. One should make an investment as early as possible. But it has seen in the past records that most people tend to invest in mutual funds generally on weekends say Friday to Sunday. Though the market is unpredictable and you never know what happens when. It is just a trend that people are following over a few years.

If not a particular day, the investment shall be made at regular intervals so as to regularize your investment and the best day is what suits your convenience.

I think month last 25 or 28th of every month will be good for any sip investment because monthly expiry can down the market and NAV will be as low as u will get
