No You cannot because Friday 24th September was the last date for buying shares to be eligible for the rights. You would recollect that Bharti Airtel has fixed 28th September as the record date for the rights eligibility. That means, to get delivery on the 28th September, the stock has to be bought on 24. That is because 25 and 26 September are weekend holidays so 28th would be the T+2 day. On 27-Monday, the stock will trade ex-rights.

But there is still one option available to you because you can buy the rights entitlement from the open market when the RE trading commences on 05-October. However, the rights are expected to quote at a premium of about 50-60% since the rights is very valuable as it is at a 28% discount to the closing price. The rights ratio is 1 share for every 14 shares held. Only 25% of the rights amount is payable in the first tranche.
