Over the last few weeks, there was a virtual drought of IPOs but that now seems to be changing. The first IPO after Macro Tech will be hitting the markets on 14 June and it is likely to be followed by a string of good quality IPOs. Here is a quick take on the IPOs.
1) Shyam Metalics IPO opens on 14 June and closes on 16 June. The Rs.909 crore IPO will be issued in the price band of Rs.303-306 and is an integrated metal production company. The response has been rather robust in the grey markets.
2) Blackstone backed Sona Comstar IPO willo open for subscription on 16 June and close on 18 June. The issue size is Rs.5,550 crore at a price band of Rs.285-291. It is an auto ancillary company and Blackstone and other investors will look for an exit in the IPO.
3) Dodla Dairy, backed by TPG Private Equity, will also open for subscription on 16 June and close on 18 June. The Rs.520 crore issue will include a Rs.50 crore fresh issue and Rs.470 crore offer for sale. The IPO has been set at a price band of Rs.421-428 per share.
4) The last IPO of the week, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences or KIMS, will open for subscription on 16 and close on 18 June. The Rs.2,144 crore IPO will be priced in the band of Rs.815-825 per share. Rs.200 crore will be the fresh issue component.
The coming week is likely to be one of the busiest IPO weeks in recent times.
