Can you tell me about the Aether Industries IPO?

Aether Industries has just received the SEBI approval for its IPO and within just a few days, it has already announced its IPO dates. The specialty chemicals company, Aether Industries, will open its IPO on 24th May and close on 26th May, both the days being inclusive. The IPO will comprise of a fresh issue of Rs627 crore which will lead to a fresh infusion of funds into the company. In addition there will be an offer for sale (OFS) of 28.2 lakh shares.

However, the full value of the IPO is not known due to the price yet to be fixed. The fresh issue portion will be utilized for its greenfield project in Surat as well as to repay debt and other working capital requirement. Aether business model is concentrated on advanced intermediates and speciality chemicals involving complex and differentiated chemistry. Aether also has a CRAMS facility and reported net profit margins of 18.74%.
