Aether Industries is a specialty chemicals company which operates across the manufacture of intermediates and specialty chemicals, CRAMS business and contract manufacturing. CRAMS is a high growth segment which is basically a high end and higher margin business for the pharma sector. Contract manufacturing entails manufacturing the specific products on behalf of other manufacturers or even for dedicated customers with dedicated capacity.

Aether currently has 2 manufacturing sites which are strategically located near Surat in the state of Gujarat. The product portfolio of Aether comprises of over 25 products across 34 international institutional and over 150 domestic institutional clients. Its exports reach out to over 18 countries. Aether has virtual monopoly in India in specialty chemicals like 4MEP, T2E, NODG and HEEP. Even globally, it ranks among the largest producers in the world
