Jubilant Foodworks, better known as the Indian franchisee of Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin' Donuts, has put out stellar numbers for Mar-21 quarter. Net profits were up 3-fold at Rs.105 crore even as sales revenues were up 14.2% at Rs.1,038 crore for the Mar-21 quarter. This can be largely attributed to boost to same stores growth and dine-home channels.
Jubilant has always been measured by the parameter of same store growth or SSG. That was a healthy 11.8% in the Mar-21 quarter. In addition, the Delivery and Takeaway Channels showed growth of 29% and 77% respectively in Mar-21 quarter. Q4 marked the acquisition of US fast food chain Popeyes and DP Eurasia master franchise for Domino’s covering Russia.
