Can you tell me about the Tata Semiconductor fund that is going to be launched?

Tata MF has filed with SEBI for a global semiconductor fund of fund. These fund of funds or FOFs, invest in global mutual funds or ETFs of that theme. Globally there are a number of semiconductor ETFs like iShares Semiconductor ETF, VanEck Semiconductor ETF, SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF and Fidelity Select Semiconductors Portfolio. This way, investors can ride the global shortage of semiconductors which is expected to a 4-5 year robust story.
