It is a slightly more complex deal between ABFRL and Authentic Brands which owns the Reebok India rights in India. As of now, ABFRL has approved the acquisition of exclusive online and offline rights to Reebok in Indian markets. This is structured as a licensing *** purchase agreement.
Under this deal, ABFRL gets exclusive rights to distribute and sell Reebok products in India and ASEAN region. It is an important foray for ABFRL into the highly lucrative and growing sports and leisure segment in India. ABFRL gets the online and offline properties of Reebok India, including its stores network.
