In the recent past, many IPOs have put off their IPO plans despite having SEBI approvals in place. However, that has not stopped the flow of fresh IPO filings and of IPO approvals by SEBI. In the latest round, SEBI has given its observations (equivalent to an approval), for the IPOs of PharmEasy (API Holdings Ltd), Wellness Forever and CMR Green Technologies. All these IPOs were filed between September and November last year.

PharmEasy plans to raise a sum of Rs.6,250 crore entirely by way of fresh issue for debt reductio and inorganic expansion. Wellness Forever, one of the popular retail pharmacy chains, plans to raise close to Rs.1,600 crore via the IPO route. CMR Green Technologies IPO will comprise of Rs.300 crore fresh issue plus 3.34 crore share via OFS and the size of the issue will depend on price band. However, it is not too certain whether these 3 companies will launch their IPOs immediately or wait for April 2022, post LIC IPO.
