Let me put it this way. It is a high risk call that you need to take. Fundamentally, the stock is now valued at around Rs.100,000 crore which is around the same level as Nykaa and lower than Zomato. Let us also not forget that Paytm is a pioneer of the digital and payment interface ecosystem in India and has an enviable database of over 33 crore investors and 2.2 crore merchants. These are advantages that are hard to match.

If you are looking at a short term trade, Paytm can be quite tricky because there would be selling and shorting pressure. However, at 27% correction, most of the risks are already factored into the stock. Traders can take a 1-2 month time frame and buy Paytm in the range of Rs.1570-1600 for upside targets of Rs.1,900. I reiterate that this is a high risk call and you must only take this call with holding capacity.
