It looks like the government is now only considering selling 5% stake in LIC with no fresh issue component. Government may offer 31.60 crore shares out of the 632 crore shares it holds. LIC board will take a final call on 11-Feb. LIC has AUM of $500 billion and the IPO is expected to be 3.6 times the size of Paytm.
