Retail investors can invest through various available options in G-sec in the primary market. So, they can place their orders through any of the available options, I’m quoting the example for investment through NSE:
1. Retail investors registered with NSE trading member:
a. Through NSE trading member: One can submit an online application through the web/app platform to the trading member.
b. Through NSE goBID mobile app/platform: One can submit an application through the NSE goBID mobile app/web-based platform.
2. All Resident individuals:
a. Through NSE goBID mobile app/platform: One can submit an application through the NSE goBID mobile app/web-based platform. However, it is mandatory for every investor to have a De-mat account and hence securities shall be credited to the respective account.
b. You can park your temporary funds in either liquid funds or short-term debt funds as equity markets are not responding better and debt funds are performing comparatively better.
