Foreign portfolio investors net sold in Indian markets overall to the tune of Rs.8,879 crore. Of course, this is just the first 10 days of data but the pressure is visible. Overall, FPIs withdrew Rs.7,462 crore from equities and Rs.1,417 crore from debt and hybrids put together. In Nov-21, the secondary market equity outflows were largely neutralized by the IPO inflows. FPI are worried over Omicron, Fed hawkishness, inflation and Evergrande.
