How did the FPI investments pan out in the month of June 2021 so far?

Foreign portfolio investors were net buyers in June to the tune of Rs.13,667 crore with inflows of Rs.15,312 crore into equities and outflow of a nominal Rs.1,645 crore from debt after the Fed turned hawkish on rates. Fed has hinted at 2 rate hikes by 2023. June has seen a turnaround in FPI sentiments after they had pulled out Rs.2,666 crore in May-21 and Rs.9,435 crore in Apr-21 in the aftermath of COVID 2.0.
