How did the most hefty companies on the Nifty fare in the last week ended 03-Dec?

For the previous week ended on December 03rd, the Nifty saw a total of seven out of the ten most valuable companies on the Nifty index gaining Rs.1,29,048 crore overall in terms of market cap. During the last week, it was TCS that led the gains from the front. The two big gainers of the week were TCS adding Rs.71,762 crore and Infosys adding Rs.18,694 crore.

Among the other key gainers during the week, Bajaj Finance added Rs.16,083 crore in market cap, HDFC Bank added Rs.12,744 crore, HDFC Rs.5,394 crore and SBI managed to put on Rs.2,410 crore. Even Hindustan Unilever was in the positive in the week, albeit marginally. Among losers, Bharti Airtel lost Rs.10,490 crore, ICICI Bank Rs.3,687 crore and Reliance Rs.2,537 crore. Overall, it was a positive week amidst all the volatility.
