How did the most liquid stocks perform in the markets in the previous week ended 11-February?

For the week ended on Friday 11th February 2022, a total of 9 out of the 10 most valuable companies by market capitalization on the Nifty ended up on the losing side. IN fact, they lost a combined Rs.103,532 crore in the form of value depletion during the week. Software giant, TCS, led the fall during the week while the most valuable company in India, Reliance Industries, was the sole gainer.

Let us first tune to the big value losers and how much of market cap they depleted in the course of one week. Among the big value losers, TCS saw value depletion of Rs.44,037 crore. Among others, HDFC gave up value of Rs.13,773 crore, Hindustan Unilever lost Rs.11,819 crore, ICICI Bank Rs.9,575 crore, Bajaj Finance Rs.8,988 crore, Infosys Rs.8,387 crore and Bharti Airtel lost Rs.3,158 crore. The sole gainer, Reliance, recorded marginal gains.
