How did you see the Dec-21 quarter numbers of SRF Ltd?

SRF has reported 55.9% growth in total sales for Dec-21 quarter at Rs.3,346 crore, while growing 17.86% on sequential basis. Among verticals, the technicals textiles business grew 46.6% to Rs.538 crore of sales. Chemicals business grew sales by 57.6% at Rs.1,428 crore. Finally, the packaging films vertical saw 59% growth in top line revenues at Rs.1,276 crore. SRF has also approved interim dividend Rs.4.75 per share to its shareholders.

Net profits for the Dec-21 quarter were up 55.7% at Rs.505.54 crore due to revenue growth and the spike in raw material and power costs being compensated by inventory efficiency gains. EBIT was sharply higher in technical textiles and the chemicals business on yoy basis, while weak in packaging films business. Net margins were flat in the Dec-21 quarter at 15.11% while the net margins were up sequentially.
