Tata Metaliks witnessed robust growth across Pig Iron and Ductile Iron Pipes
verticals. Incidentally, Tata Metaliks reported its highest ever Hot Metals and
Ductile Iron Pipes output of 565 KT and 236 KT respectively. Coke plant
production was a record 232 KT while power generation stood at 22.4 MW.

The profit after tax for the Mar-22 quarter for
Tata Metaliks stood at Rs.52.46 crore, a yoy profit compression of -29.93%.
However, sequential profits were higher by 47.15%. That was because, Q4 EBITDA
fell -10.54% to Rs.63.64 crore, largely triggered by the 79% spike in raw
material costs during the quarter at Rs.543 crore. Despite reporting
exceptional capital gains of Rs.30.83 crore in Q4 from sale of land, it could
only partially offset input cost spike. Net margins stood at 6.49% in Mar-22
quarter as against 11.33% in Mar-21 quarter. PAT margins were higher by 132
basis points on a sequential basis, compared to Dec-21 quarter.
