How do we come to know that who are the prime investors in the AMC and the associated funds?

In case the AMC is listed on the stock exchanges, prime investors’ information can be obtained from the shareholding pattern disclosed in the regulatory documents filed by the AMC. Wherever the AMC is not listed, key investors’ information will be very limited but can be attempted to obtain through secondary research. Investors’ information in a particular mutual fund scheme run by an AMC is not disclosed.
