For the Q4FY22 quarter, Tata Power Ltd saw sales up over 15% at Rs11,960 crore. FY22, full year, revenues were higher by 31% at Rs42,816 crore. Segment revenues in Q4FY22 from generation were lower while renewables revenues were higher. The sales thrust was provided by the 39% growth in transmission and distribution (T&D) revenues at Rs7,127 crore. Net cash from operations was lower yoy due to spike in inventory costs.

Net profits for Q4FY22 were up 28.04% at Rs503.11 crore Operating profits from renewables and T&D almost doubled yoy in Q4FY22 while operating profits from generation business was lower. In the latest quarter, Tata Power took an impairment provision of Rs150 crore for Netherlands but deferred tax credits offset this impact somewhat. Net margins stood at 4.21% in Q4FY22 compared to 3.79% in Q4FY21.
