How do you see the quarterly results of Tata Elxsi?

For the second quarter ended September 2021, Tata Elxsi reported 58.89% yoy growth in net profits at Rs.125.33 crore. This was largely on the back of profit boost from digital and automotive deals. In terms of top line, the revenues were up 38.39% on a consolidated basis at Rs.595 crore and 6.6% higher on a sequential basis

The software development and services vertical showed growth of 38% at Rs582cr. System integration was much smaller and growth was not material in the overall context. In constant currency terms i.e. in terms of currency neutral dollar terms, the revenues were up 37.2% yoy and 7.4% on sequential basis.

Tata Elxsi growth was triggered by 34% yoy growth in the embedded products division or EPD as it is better known as. Within the overall ambit of EPD, it was automotive practice that grew 29% yoy. Tata Elxsi also boasts of a robust order book and order pipeline. It also beat the previous quarters in net margins at 21.05%.
