How do you see the Wipro stock after the Jun-21 quarter results?

For the Jun-21 quarter, Wipro reported 36% higher consolidated net profit at Rs.3,243 crore. Even on sequential basis, the net profits were up by 9.1%, due to the impact of the Ampion and Campos acquisitions on the total revenues. Top line revenues were up 22.3% at Rs.18,525 crore and also growing 22.4% sequentially. The big news was that Wipro gave a much better revenue guidance growth of 5-7% for Q2 in dollar terms.

The company has bene consolidating the benefits of its premium client based approach in the last one year since Thierry Delaporte took charge of Wipro as the CEO. The key area of concern was that operating margins fell by 175 bps to 18.8%. Wipro performance was helped along the way by the acquisition of Capco. For Jun-21 quarter, Wipro’s attrition rate was up at 15.5%, but this likely to be addressed via major recruitment drives.
