How does Wipro plan to partner start-ups under the leadership of Rishad Premji?

In terms of strategy, this is a major shift for Wipro. Wipro has had a typical customer base of large enterprises in the range of $2-10 billion of revenues. With the smaller names, Wipro will not only look at them as customers also as long term partners. That will be the ecosystem on which the fresh investments will be based.

Rishad sees a huge opportunity and synergy between IT services and the start-up ecosystem. Wipro has already started working with around 40 new-age companies in India in various capacities. Wipro will also look to partnering in young companies without being part of it.
