How much did Nykaa manage to place with anchor investors ahead of the IPO?

The response to the anchor placement of FSN E-Commerce Ventures (Nykaa) was almost 40 times the intended size. The anchor placement mopped up Rs.2,396 crore from 174 anchor investors on 27-Oct, just one day ahead of its IPO opening on 28-October. The anchor placement will entail a placement of a total of 212.96 lakh shares to the anchor investors at a price of Rs.1,125 per share, which is the upper end of the price band decided for the IPO.

The anchor list also reads like a who’s who of the global investing industry. Major global anchors included Blackrock, Fidelity, Government of Singapore, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, T Rowe Price, JPM, Aberdeen, CLSA and Goldman Sachs. Key domestic anchors included SBI MF, HDF Mutual Fund, ICICI Pru MF, Templeton Mutual Fund, Kotak MF, Axis MF, UTI MF, Birla MF, Tata MF etc.
