Reliance Industries and Apollo Global are jointly bidding for international drug store arm of Walgreens Boots. Walgreen had pegged its valuation at $8.8 billion but bidders are more willing to pay around $5 billion. Boots has a wide network of more than 2,200 stores across the UK.
