In the midst of a weak IPO market, it was good that Latent View Analytics had a strong listing on 23rd November. The stock listed on the NSE at a premium of 160% although it did struggle to hold on to higher levels. The strong listing was along expected lines after the IPO saw overall subscription of 326.49X and strong trading interest in GMP market. The price of the IPO had been fixed at the upper end of the band at Rs.197.

Latent View Analytics listed on NSE at Rs.512.20, representing a premium of 160% over the issue price of Rs.197. It also listed at a premium of 169% at Rs.530 on the BSE. On the NSE, the stock scaled a high price of Rs.548 and a low price of Rs.461.10 before closing the day at a price of Rs.487.95. The IPO also saw good listing gains amidst strong volumes on the BSE as fresh buying interest was also seen among the retail investors.

Volumes were also robust on day 1 of listing for Latent View. The stock traded 288 lakh shares on NSE worth Rs.1,443 crore making it the sixth most active stock on Tuesday on the NSE in terms of traded value. Even on the BSE, despite lower trading volumes of 20.73 lakh shares and turnover of Rs.105 crore, Latent View was the fifth most active stock by traded value on BSE. At close of Day-1, Latent View had an overall market cap of Rs.9,665 crore.
