Nykaa made a strong listing on 10th November on the NSE and the BSE listing at a premium of 79.38%. Towards the close, it gained further muscle and almost doubled by the close of the trading day. That was not surprising considering that the subscription was 81.78 times and the GMP had already indicated a premium of 80-85%. The price of the IPO had been fixed at the upper end of the price band at Rs.1,125.

On the NSE, Nykaa listed at a Rs.2,018 and at a price of Rs.2,001 on the BSE. The premium on listing varied from 79.38% above issue price on the NSE and 77.87% above issue price on the BSE. At the close of trade on 10-Nov, Nykaa closed at Rs.2,208, premium of 96.27% on issue price. Even on the BSE, Nykaa closed at Rs.2,208.35, listing premium of 96.3% on issue price. Nykaa is the brand owned and operated by FSN E-Commerce Ventures.

On the NSE, the stock of Nykaa touched a high of Rs.2,248 and a low of Rs.2,000 per share, closing nearer to the high price of the day. Volumes on the first day were huge on the NSE with a total of 343.25 lakh shares of Nykaa traded on the NSE valued of Rs.7,172.30 crore. Nykaa was the most liquid stock on the NSE on 10-Nov in terms of value. It was also the highest value trade on BSE. By close of Nov-10, Nyka market cap crossed Rs.1 trillion.
