How was the sugar output for the last one year in India?

With the sugar year 2021-22 still about 3 months away, India's sugar mills have already produced record 35.2 million tonnes of sugar. The sugar cycle year extends from October to September. This is already more than the full year output of sugar in the previous sugar cycle, which was just about 30.6 million tonnes. To curb domestic sugar prices, the government has already put curbs on export at an outer limit of 10 million tonnes.
