For the fourth quarter, Tata Motors managed to narrow its losses to Rs-1,033 crore, even as the full year net loss stood at a more manageable Rs-7,605 crore for FY22. Overall sales revenues fell by 11% to Rs78,439 crore in the quarter as Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) faced a perennial shortage of microchips as well as supply chain constraints on auto parts. Surprisingly, the India operations were profitable with most losses coming from the JLR business. JLR posted revenues of £4.8 billion for FY22 selling 376,381 units.
