The Rs.1,398 crore IPO of Medplus Health Services was subscribed 52.59 times overall at the close of the third day of the IPO. Bulk of the demand came from QIB and HNI segments. On an overall basis across categories, out of the 125.75 lakh shares on offer, Medplus Health go bids for 6,613.67 lakh shares. That is a 52.59 times subscription and is a healthy number considering the side of the issue.

Let us begin with the QIB segment. Medplus had placed shares worth Rs.418 crore with 36 anchor investors a day ahead of the IPO opening. The number of shares net of anchor allocation stood at 35.73 lakh shares. Against this available residual QIB quota, Medplus got bids for 3,997.61 lakh shares at the close the IPO issue. This translates into 111.90 times subscription for QIBs at close of Day-3. Much of the QIB flow was bunched on the last day.

Let me now turn to the HNI portion that had 26.79 lakh shares available. Overall, the HNI portion was subscribed 85.33 times with valid applications for 2,286.44 lakh shares. Once again, this response was largely bunched on the last day. Coming to the retail portion, the retail portion was subscribed 5.24 times. Out of the 62.52 lakh shares on offer, valid bids were received for 327.45 lakh shares and the IPO has closed for subscription.
