For FY22, revenues increased by a healthy 40.6% at Rs.6,081 crore. Blue Star saw robust growth across the Electromechanical projects / air conditioning vertical as well as the unitary products vertical. With early summers turning out to be quite torrid, the sales of Air Conditioners have seen a sharp spike in India, helping Blue Star.

The consolidated net profit for Q4 was up by a more subdued 12.07% at Rs.76.16 crore. This is despite the rather impressive operating profit growth at 37% on a yoy basis. The bottom line took a hit on account of lower inventory management efficiency as well as higher proportion of unallocable expenses. Net Profit margins were 3.39% in Mar-22 quarter compared to 4.22% in Mar-21 quarter. NPM was higher sequentially compared to 3.15% in Q3. Normally, the project execution business generally operates on lower net margins.
