How were the quarterly numbers of Ambuja Cements?

Ambuja Cements net profits fell by 55.5% to Rs.431 crore for the fourth quarter ended Dec-21. However, revenues were marginally higher by 2.31% at Rs.7,625 crore in the quarter. Cement sales volumes were flat at 7 MTPA in the quarter. However, the positive takeaway is that full year profits were up 19% at Rs.3,711 crore. Cost pressures from power, fuel and transport costs continued to weigh on the bottom line numbers of Ambuja Cements.
