For the fourth quarter, MRPL profits fell by 41% from Rs.542 crore to Rs.319 crore. The main reason was that the gross refining margin (GRM) for MRPL fell sharply during the last one year from $7.87/bbl to just about $5.01/bbl. The company has also been facing frequent shutdowns due to water shortage in the region. The stock has been under pressure and you may look to exit the stock for now and look back later.
