In trading, traders hold stocks for a short period of time. Traders always sell the stocks and sell immediately when the stock performs high performance irrespective of the time of holding the stock. 

On the contrary, In stock investment, the investor believes "buy and hold" a principle. Investors invest their money in the particular potential stock for some years that in some cases goes as long as decade or generation also. 
As per taxation, the trader gets short term gain and the investor  gets long term gain

Thus, as per the question, if you are selling the stock in the span of two months then I find you as a trader.
