Is Adani Enterprises supplying the Australian mined coal to NTPC?

Adani Enterprises confirmed it had won a contract to supply imported coal of 1 million tonnes to NTPC. This coal imports are from the controversial Australian mines and will be used for NTPC power plants. This contract was awarded through a process of reverse bidding. Most power plants in India have been struggling with coal shortages and this should come as a relief to Indian power sector.
