Is Invesco fully selling out of Zee Entertainment?

They are not fully exiting Zee. In fact, out of their 18.8% stake, Invesco Developing Markets plans to sell 7.8% of its holdings in Zee Entertainment. The value of the deal will be worth Rs.2,200 crore. They will still have 11% in Zee Entertainment. Invesco fought a long battle with the Essel family over leadership issues and the deal with Sony. Now Invesco has agreed to support the Sony deal and also not insist on the removal of Punit Goenka.
