Yes it official. A consortium of Bandhan Financial, GIC of Singapore and ChrysCapital will acquire IDFC AMC for Rs.4,500 core. Bandhan Financial is also the holding company of Bandhan Bank. This will be the largest deal in the Indian mutual funds space. For Bandhan, the mutual funds business will be an extension of their current microfinance focus
