There have been several index changes that have been announced in the Nifty 50 and the Nifty Next 50 by the NSE Index Committee. For instance, Apollo Hospitals will replace Indian Oil Corporation on the Nifty-50 and this change will be effective from 31st March 2022. There have also been key inclusions to the Nifty Next 50 index. Stocks like Paytm (One97 Communications), Nykaa (FSN E-Commerce), Zomato, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), Mindtree and SRF Ltd will all now find a place in the Nifty 50.

Obviously, there are also some of the stocks moving out of the Nifty Next 50. Some of the key stocks moving out include Apollo Hospitals, Aurobindo Pharma, HPCL, IGL, JSPL and Yes Bank. Only Apollo Hospitals from among these stocks is being upgraded to the Nifty 50 index due to its recent market cap surge. All these proposed changes will be effective from 31st March. Indices changed minimum listing history requirement from 1 month to 3 months.
