It was an event full week gone by with the monetary policy and a sharp fall in the rupee. Here are some key triggers for the coming week likely to impact markets.

· Big earnings from TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HDFC Bank, Mindtree, ICICI General. Focus on growth and margin guidance from Infosys and Wipro

· Inflation and IIP data in focus after growth core sector struggled and RBI policy flagged inflation risks.

· Trade deficit announcement on 15 April and FPI flows to determine INR value after it lost -161 basis points last week

· IPO action absent this week. While Barbeque rallied post listing, the 1.36X response to Macrotech IPO disappointed

· Call and put writing strikes moved up even and VIX settled lower at 19.78 hinting at possible bottoming out of markets

· Data points include US inflation, retail sales, IIP, jobless claims and housing starts, China Q1 GDP, IIP, retail sales, Japan machinery orders and EU inflation, IIP, EU retail sales
