What happens to Air India, now that the CEO is not joining?

Ilker Ayci, former chairman of Turkish Airlines, who was supposed to join as the CEO of Air India, has declined the offer. Apparently, this decision comes days after sections of the media tried to give a national security colour to the appointment. Ilker Ayci is a former advisor to Turkish President, Tayyip Erdogan; a staunch ally of Pakistan. The Swadeshi Jagran Manch of S Gurumurthy, had highlighted this aspect and raised questions of national security. Ayci concluded that it was not feasible to accept the offer in these circumstances.
