A credit card is a payment card issued to users to enable the cardholder to pay a merchant for goods and services based on the cardholder's promise to the card issuer to pay them for the amounts plus the other agreed charges.

Credit cards can be used for purchase of goods and services at POS terminals / e-commerce (online purchase).

These cards can be used domestically and internationally (provided they are enabled for international use). The credit cards can also be used to withdraw cash from an ATM and for transferring funds to bank accounts, debit cards, credit cards and prepaid cards within the country, subject to prescribed limits and conditions.

However, along with pros, you may also find some cons while using a credit card. First I would like to list Interest rate charged if you miss making your payment. Ease in the payment process as more likeness to induce you for more spending.
