What is the latest controversy that Paytm has gotten into?

It almost looks like the controversies never cease for Paytm. Even as it was reconciling to the massive price damage of more than 68% from the listing price of the IPO, there are more problems for the company. The first jolt came after RBI banned Paytm Payments Bank from taking on fresh accounts till the RBI completed a complete audit of its IT and systems.

In between there was the road rage incident at a personal level which could ay be dismissed as a one-off. On Monday, the stock tanked sharply after a more serious charge emerged about leaks of key information to Chinese companies. Paytm has absolutely denied these allegations but the damage is visible as the stock tanked to Rs.680.
