What is the latest drug that Lupin has launched in the US?

Lupin has recently launched an authorized generic version of Antara (Fenofibrate) capsules in the US markets in strengths of 30 mg and 90 mg. This is the generic Fenofibrate capsules with an estimated annual sales of $7 million in the US. This drug is used to treat problems pertaining to cholesterol, which is one of the biggest problems and emerging health crisis in the United States.

Fenofibrate Capsules are used as an adjunctive therapy to diet with the intent to reduce elevated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglycerides and apolipoprotein B. The drug will also be used to increase high-density lipoprotein cholesterol in adult patients suffering from primary hypercholesterolemia. Despite tepid results, the stock of Lupin was trading marginally higher at around Rs.934 per share.
