What is the logic behind the top four IT companies adding 1 lakh freshers to their rolls?

The large IT names are veering around to the view that the best way to create digital skills is to recruit fresh from the campuses and train them. Between the, the Big-4 will add 100,000 freshers to their roll. The two largest IT players; TCS and Infosys will add 40,000 freshers and 35,000 freshers respectively.

Meanwhile, Wipro will add 10,000 while HCL Tech will make offers to 20,000 freshers. Clearly, it looks like a strategy of “Catch them young and watch them grow”.
