A couple of weeks after LIC signed up with Policybazaar to sell insurance policies online, the latest marketing deal is a tie up with BSE EBIX Insurance Broking. The idea is to sell its insurance products to a savvier crowd. BSE EBIX will offer LIC’s life and health insurance products to its clients leveraging on its omnichannel digital presence. More importantly, the selling will be via customer-centric solutions to buyers.

LIC gets access to the 10 crore investor data base of the Bombay Stock Exchange. It also helps the objective of BSE EBIX, which is to reach out to every individual to address their insurance needs in a customized way. BSE EBIX is positioned as a pan-India “Phygital” solution offering. BSE EBIX also has a vast army of point of sale persons (POSP) to deliver best of Insurance products and risk management solutions to end customers.
