Wipro announced the acquisition of Edgile, a cybersecurity service company that is based out of Texas. The consideration will be for $230 million for the purchase. Edgile was formed in 2001 and currently has 182 employees onsite with 2020 revenues of $44.1 million. Wipro and Edgile will jointly develop Wipro CyberTransform, the suite to catalyse boardroom governance of cybersecurity risk.
