What is your quick take on the Route Mobile Q3 numbers for Dec-21 quarter?

Route Mobile saw 46.23% yoy growth in sales for Dec-21 quarter at Rs.563 crore. In terms of geographical vertical spread, the India revenues fell sharply but that was more than compensated for by a 50% growth in UK sales revenues at Rs.380 crore. Meanwhile, the sales from UAE, Kuwait and Nigeria were also higher yoy. The company also made a Rs.7 crore loss on forex during the quarter compared to a gain of Rs.5.30 crore last year.

Net profits for Dec-21 quarter surged by 22.43% at Rs.46.51 crore. The lower profit growth compared to revenue growth was on account of the India business. India EBIT dipped into a small loss but there was meaningful growth in operating profits in the UAE and Kuwait business apart from UK business. Nigeria EBIT was lower yoy. Net margins trended lower from 9.87% in the Dec-20 quarter to 8.26% in the Dec-21 quarter.
