Which mutual fund scheme can give good returns in 2020?

After the budget2020 and the phase of the economic slowdown in India, many investors have been asking about mutual fund investments. I tried studying markets and of course mutual funds future growth. Below are the points that came into conclusion:
- While market behavior cannot be predicted 100% accurately or guaranteed, mutual funds are generally considered to provide higher returns than traditional investment products like FD / Bank a/c, etc, they are considered relatively safer than direct equity (stocks).
- Mutual funds in the past have given <some returns over a longer period such as 10 years / short term such as 3 years etc>
- If you need further advice on mutual fund outlook and suitable mutual funds for you, you can simply check good mutual fund applications such as IIFL Mutual Funds, 5 Paisa etc.
Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) is a way to invest in volatile assets such as equity or equity-oriented financial instruments. It is a very efficient mechanism to meet various financial goals or accumulate substantial wealth in the long run and therefore should not be seen as a short term arrangement. Investors must have at least 3-5 years of the horizon for investment in equity or equity-oriented mutual funds schemes. However, one can invest a lump sum amount in debt or conservative schemes. Thus, investors with higher risk appetite can invest in Kotak Standard Multicap Fund while investors with lower risk appetite can consider ICICI Pru Balanced Advantage Fund.
