Air India cancelled 8 US flights over deployment of 5G internet in North America as it is likely to interfere with aircraft navigation systems. The US based FAA warned that 5G interference with the aircraft radio altimeter could disrupt braking systems. That is because altimeter band is close to 5G system networks. Air India flies to the East and West Coast of the US.
