On 29 September, Sun Pharma was up 2% at Rs.793 after launching Chericof-12 in India. This is a cough formulation. The stock now trades close to its 52-week high of Rs.804. Chericof-12 is the first prescription cough syrup to provide relief for 12 hours and approved for patients above 6-years of age. Sun will use the Polistirex Technology entailing complexation of two drugs to mask the bitter taste.
